| Posted: | | | | Ok, the actors' name is Murray Moston, but in the credits for "Taxi Driver" and "Mean Street" his name appears in DVDP DB as Murray Mosten, hence why the report of his profile in my collection is not correct..
I'm not 100% which spelling is the correct one.....yet |

The way we do things for the headshot db makes it the default photo if it's not overridden on the profile level. |

I'm not 100% which spelling is the correct one.....yet You have to check which is the most common used form of his name with the credit lookup tool. Then you use the credited as feature for linking the variants. (HS must be added for the most common form) Or you add the HS for all variants. I personnally just contribute headshots for the most commonly credited form. For the other variants I add the same pic local with a marker inside the pic, so I find these other variants easily. But there are also some additions to this database, where the pic is added to all/many different variants. |

| Posted: | | | | ok I am not big on the whole DB swapping thing. My luck just sucks with things like that.
Here is a RAR file : http://www.robagd.com/DVDP/misc/headshots-pics-added.rar
These are some odd ball additions, images are named with the actors names, if someone would like to add these to the DB for update.

| Posted: | | | | Is there an easy way to export and contribute the profiles and headshots?
The tutorial on page one of this thread works only if you start updating, not if you already have updated many photos. |

| Posted: | | | | Well,
you have to put all the photos that you want to contribute (by drag and drop) into teh "headshot" profile that you have created manually. from there on you need to follow the instructions on the tutorial page.

| Posted: | | | | There is no other way than manually per drag and drop? if i count my cast & crew there are over 150.000 entries. Don't know how many cast & crew entries have more than one entriy. |

| Posted: | | | | I have the same problem.
We don't have access to the internal data structure. So, there's nothing we can do. |

| Posted: | | | | I added this a long time ago to DVD Profiler. I want to update this for once. How is that best done? Remove everything first or can I simply overwrite stuff?
I'll do a major update session (of DVD Profiler) this week so I'll ask first before I fire it all up this week. | | | http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/The%20Chosen%20One |

| Posted: | | | | Since there's no profiles stored in the HSDB v6, there's no risk to your collection. Simply download the different parts and then use the Restore function under the DVDP File menu.
Of course, it's always recommended to perform a backup of your database before performing any major change such as importing the HSDB's.
If you have any headshots in your database which are older than the ones in the HSDB, you are prompted to review them to keep your version or to accept the updated version. Alternately, you can also instruct it to blindly accept all changes or blindly keep all current versions. |

| Posted: | | | | I had to delete my headshots file from my server because of traffic limitations. I will upload it again on a free file hoster and post the link when available again.
