I am upgrading to a new phone and am not finding the DVD Profiler app on the Google Play Store.  The link from the downloads page here goes to a "not found" page on the store.  I know development for the app stopped ages ago, but I am really hoping it's not gone for good from Android.  Does anybody know?

We haven't/won't see anything official from Invelos, but I imagine it's the same issue as the Apple app, e.g. it's not been updated to ensure compatability with the latest version of the OS so is no longer allowed/available in the store.

A while ago the app was still reachable via the https://play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory?hl=en, but even that does not show the DVD Profiler for me.

There are still a few options:

Download and install the apk from a trusted source (always a bit risky though).

Use a backup tool to transfer the app from your old phone to the new (requires root).

Pick up a cheap older phone/tablet just to run DVD Profiler.

The last option is probably your safest bet.

I'm in the same boat.  DVD Profiler was still in the Play Store two weeks ago--I installed it on a new phone I purchased on December 7th.  Because of an issue, I ended up exchanging that phone for another of the exact same model but when I set it up yesterday DVD Profiler was no longer in the Play Store.  I was going to ask if anyone knew of someplace to get a legitimate copy of the Android app that I could sideload onto my phone.  I know that it works perfectly well with Android 11 because I used it on two previous Android 11 phones that I no longer have.  On my new phone, I can no longer download it.  I really don't want to download a cracked version of the Android app but unless there's a way to get a legitimate copy (or Google puts it back in the store) the only option seems to be switching to a different program.

After a pretty long online search, the only DVD Profiler Android APKs I could find are ones that have been cracked--and since it was sold through the Play Store there might not even be a way to restore the purchase of a legit copy of the Android app.  I still have DVD Profiler on a backup phone (which runs Android 11) but I really need it on the phone that I'm actually using so I don't buy anything that I already own.  DVD Profiler just got taken down this month so I don't know if anyone has already switched to a good alternative that can be used on a PC and Android?  A couple of alternatives that I've looked at charge a yearly subscription instead of a one-time purchase price.

Good news!  DVD Profiler is still in Amazon's Android App store.  It's $2.99 but I can deal with paying for it again.

Hello,

I am using an iPhone 13 pro.
I checked - and the DVD Profiler app is avaliable - see the picture.

The app is installed on my phone.

I took a look at my girlfriends phone. She is using an iPhone 11 pro. Latest version of IOS.
She doesn't have the app installed, but it is avaliable in the app store.

André

Well somebody is keeping profile submissions going behind the scenes, so it looks like they may have resubmitted the apple app. Hopefully we'll see the android one return if that's the case.

FYI I just bought a new iPad and of course downloaded DVD Profiler and it's working just fine. I would have loved to buy an Android tablet but really Apple runs circles around the competition in this price range.

You can extract the app without root.

How can I install an app from the amazon store on a cell phone?

Why isn't Invelos saying something about this, or have I missed it.
One of the reasons I use this app is because I can have it on my PC and my phone. I've asked the question elsewhere but no one is saying anything. Bit of a poor show from what i otherwise thought was a top company

It is now July and it has been several months since the app was no longer in the app store

The links to it from the Invelos website are still broken.

Is this ever going to be fixed? Can't we have a direct download link from Invelos as an alternative or better still why is the old app not being kept updated or does it use a technology that Google no longer permit?

In all likelihood, No.
