| Posted: | | | | I have been holding off buying this too, as I didn;t want to go through the replacement procedure (ordering R1 to Taiwan...). Looking forward to finally being able to make this purchase without worries.
I read at The Digital Bits that it is currently undecided, if a new UPC will be used. In stores, they will at least use a sticker to clearly mark the updated release. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

I've been holding on this for quite a long time. Regarding the sticker that's the least they can do. But one thing it's not clear, they said it's a limited edition? | | | Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! |

I am just going to order soon (maybe as soon as one of my preferred online retailers has it for pre-order... | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. | Posted: | | | | Yeah, that's kind of a weird selling point: "Get The Correct DVDs... For A Limited Time Only!"
As if they will revert to selling the sets with the incorrect discs after a while. |

| Posted: | | | | On 4/9 The Digital Bits ran this update: Quoting The Digital Bits: Quote: We've also got a little bit of Warner release news. Or actually, a follow-up on recent news. The studio has forwarded us a first look at the new cover art for the fixed Superman: Ultimate Collector's Edition box set re-release (due 5/29). Specifically, here's a look at the stickers on the cover that will identify the new fixed release from the previous version:
go to The Digital Bits to see the images
Also, according to the studio's press site, here's the NEW UPC number for the revised box set: 085391165262. For the record, the UPC for the OLD box set was 012569819122. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | Ok, I've done box-sets for a long time now, and for the most part, don't have much problems. However, with this Superman Ultimate Collector's Edition, I'm at a lost. I have no idea which ones to add to the box set. It seems that some of the disc match by disc ID and some with UPC, and some I just have no clue. There doesn't seem to be a consistent result, especially when it has this many discs and sides. Can someone just post which profiles belongs in this box-set?
I really wish the box-set would just download all the profiles and include them by default. Then people can add or delete or modify to their heart's content. This trying to figure out which disc and profile belongs to the box-set is really too much work. | | | Last edited: by GAMacky |

This trying to figure out which disc and profile belongs to the box-set is really too much work. You can actually do that. All 14 profiles are available in the online database. If looking VERY close, I believe there "should" only be 7: Superman (4 discs) Superman II (2 discs) Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut (1 disc) Superman III (1 disc) Superman IV (1 disc) Superman Returns (2 +1 discs) Look, Up in the Sky! (1 + 1 discs) It is, however, currently not set up like that in the online database. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |
