Have you seen this? Lucas denies rumours of 2 new movies. What's coming up is 2 new television series.

Here's the link for the complete story. May The Force Be With You.

Old new, zeefer However, George is working on Star Wars 3D, he had planned to have them ready for this years 30th Anniversary but haven't heard about their status for awhile. Star Wars will never be a finished set of movies...as long as George is alive.

So, he might remake the "Holiday Special"?

And, Lucas has been cloned - he will never die

I am glad, George never really made his idea of a previous trilogy come true. I really like the one trilogy and am happy that there is nothing more out there.

There is a Star Wars trilogy out there? I always though that it was a single movie.

There was only 1 Star Wars movie that had a beginning, a middle, and an end. And was the only movie with that name attached to it that you did not need to see any other movie for it to make sense.
And that movie was "Star Wars" and when I first saw it it never said Episode Four, and as far as I am concerned there should never have been any others made.
And if you ask my friends I have said that ever since I saw Empire.
And even is there were, no one should have made any after a 17 year break all on his own.

Around 1995, way before the crap prequels, Darth Vader himself told me (how about that for name dropping?  ) that George had rough ideas for three trilogies and picked the middle one, because episode four was the only one that could stand on its own if no-one liked it enough to warrant a sequel, so it was always intended to be multiple films and always intended to be episode four.

Btw, Darth was cleverly disguised as Dave Prowse when I saw him ...

well i have heard from a source close to the Big guy, well frma a scources scource etc twice removed , but its "pretty" reliable, Mr Lucas always wanted a 3 part trilogy, that is three trilogys 4,5,6,1,2,3, 7,8,9.

7 is going to be closly based on Luke reforming the Jedi and findig a few lost Jedi knoights that went into deep hiding in another galaxy far far away so deep  that even Yoda could not sence them.

8, it to be based on the Admiral ? tring to retake and rebuild the Empire,

9. teh reformation of the Jedi Temple and the New Republic.

themes i know which for any SW fan should recognise from the comics and various games that have been out there, aparently GL wanted to see how thw General public took the the ideas before he makes his mind up, but if you watch ROTJ there is a open plot line, but you have to really watch it and understand whats going on in the background. if anyof you know what i mean you'll know there HAS to be & 7, 8, 9

but as i said this information is so second hand its falling apart and its not my opinion i have to say.

I'd like to see a closure to the story and see the Jedi back to its fomrer lory, see Han marry Liea and have kids, I'd also like to see more of the wookies and there world

we'll see
regards

Jedi Knoights? Deep Hiding must be in Ireland, so it is ...

I think most of your rumours are likely to be true, but only so far as ideas swimming around in Lucas's head. I hold the original trilogy in very high regard, but as I said before, Dave Prowse said he chose them from rough ideas for nine parts. The prequels proved they were very rough and very weak. Star Wars will return in some form, but I really hope they learned lessons. Despite the success, they must realise it just didn't work on a fundamental level.
