| Posted: | | | | When the inclusion of headshots was announced for 3.0, I kind of rolled my eyes at a useless bell and whistle. But I've grown to like it and even get obsessive about it. Thanks to the plugin and Doug's collection of headshots, I got a good start on modern stars, but many older movies have no headshots in those collections. So I've started going through cast listings for them, adding people as much as I can. And the process is quite gratifyingly addictive. I'll click on a random profile, work through it, then jump to another profile where the actor or actress appears, and then continue the process, filling in the headshots again. Lather, rinse, repeat. Last night I looked up after doing a bunch of them and it was after midnight. Oy! What a ridiculous but fascinating toy! | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| Posted: | | | | I feel the same way. Alot of times now when I end up stuck on the phone with someone, I'll just scroll through casts looking for missing head shots to look up. It's like doodling. | | | "I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world because they'd never expect it." - Jack Handey |

| Posted: | | | | Me too... I think I've manually added 100's of them. Would certainly like to see the plugin and collection if you know where I could find them as well. |

| Posted: | | | | See here for the Plugin (for some reason, it's in Feature Requests, instead of Plugins.....)

And see here for Doug's Headshot collections.

I unzipped them and stuck them all in one big file to use with Caranthir's plugin. I have a big collection so it took 4 days for the computer to go through all the names, but it should be shorter for you if you have a reasonable database size. Caranthir's not kidding when he says to keep your hands off the mouse and keyboard while it does its magic. There are a couple names it chokes on that you need to do manually---Gina Gershon is one, and read the first thread for a couple of others. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| Posted: | | | | You can do collection backups and select cast/crew only, then restore those into another collection. As it restores, by default it will show old/new images and let you pick the better one. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Guys,
Stupid question time. Regarding 'headshots' is this where when you highlight an actor > cast > where it says drag image here, is this what headshots fills in?
Also I noticed 'Doug' has several files, where do you copy the files to & un-zip?
