| | Posted: | | | | I'm not Swedish, but since we all Finnish people MUST learn Swedish (because we have a 5 % minority of Swedish speaking citizens), I translate the main parts:
Release date for the Swedish translation of the 7th Harry Potter book has been announced to be November 21st.
Because the title Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is hard to translate, especially if you do not have the manuscript, J. K. Rowling gave to all foreign publishers an alternative title to translate. The title was Harry Potter and the Relics of Death which is translated in Swedish as Harry Potter och dödsrelikerna. |

It's an interesting thing about Finland, not Europe.

It's more to do with it being an official language than the 5%. It's the same thing in Canada with regards to French, and I'm sure lots of other countries too. If Spanish was declared an official language of the States you'd probably be learning it in school. KM i believe some states it is listed as a second official language... but im in the north east and its huge... i can't imagine what florida or texas is like. | | | | -JoN |
