You're more likely to find a large selection at one of the big consumer electronics stores than at smaller shops.  The big boys have the buying power to get and carry much more inventory.  Walmart, Circuit City, Best Buy, Target are all good choices.  Best Buy generally has the biggest selection.

Cartmin,

I used to travel around doing things like this but, anymore the online retailers like Deepdiscount.com  and big box retailers have put the Mom & Pop stores out of Business. I hear there are still some pretty good places in California and up and down the west coast but, I have not been their lately. If your really looking to add to your collection the trading post forum might be a good place to start.
