| Posted: | | | | Just doing manual numbers? A P-touch labeling device would probably work pretty well. | | | "Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men" - Douglas Bader "A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." - Douglas Adams |

| Posted: | | | | Most word processing programs and page design programs have Avery label templates, making it easy to line up numbers, letters, words, etc. within each label -- and Avery makes labels for inkjet and laser printers. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | I have been using a Dymo Labelmanager PC to print 9mm labels that fit perfectly on the spine.
Unfortunately the software driver for this model doesn't support Windows Vista (and Dymo doesn't seem to be willing to update it), so I'll be looking for something new since I just bought a new computer with Vista.
Apparently there is a later model (Labelmanager PC II) that does support Vista, but I have been unable to find anyone who sells it here. There are a few other Dymo models that will do the job as well, but they are rather expensive. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Vista is not ready for users if you ask me. I had issues with Quicken 2007. I am happy back with XP. Thanks Skip I will look in to buying one.
Are these hard to peal off the back? I remember when I was a kid and had a label gun that typed names etc in to blue tape but it was hard to peal the back off.
Also what size tape would be the best 1/2 or 3/8? | | | Last edited: by Randall_Lind |

| Posted: | | | | After doing some research I think that I may buy a Brother P-Touch 2420PC. It doesn't seem to be available in the States, but it looks rather similar to P-Touch 1500PC. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | I was thinking of the Brother PT-1600 P-Touch label cost $103.24 at Amazon I doubt I will use it much just for DVD's so the two rolls of tape will last a long time. |

| Posted: | | | | "How would you put #'s on DVD cases?" Umm, I dunno, maybe with a permanent marker? Or, yes, that's it, with a sharp kitchen knife or maybe a chisel Sorry, I resisted all day long to post this, but seeing who killed the internet just now put me over the edge | | | Lutz |
