| Posted: | | | | I am thinking of getting lethal weapon series on like 2 DVD's or a box set with all 4 movies on separate dvd's how ever I see this on the 4 box set:
Format: Anamorphic, Box set, Color, DVD-Video, NTSC
Would this be Widescreen or Full?
They had another set that said full screen. | | | Last edited: by Randall_Lind |

| Posted: | | | | If there was another set that said full screen, you've most likely been looking at the widescreen version...
"Anamorphic" is the keyword, too. So far they still refer to 4:3 TVs to be the norm, so if a film is anamorphically enhanced, meaning it will make better use of a 16:9 TV, it is widescreen. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | Amazon sells the 4 disc box set of lethal weapon for $41 but someone is selling it used-like new for $27+2.98 shipping.
I love that Amazon lets people/companies sell used dvd's
I don't care if it is used as long as it plays and I can return it if not. | | | Last edited: by Randall_Lind |

| Posted: | | | | I hate it when they show Lethal Weapons Movies on TV and during the car chase when Glover and Gibson are in the front seat of police car chasing some dude, the image on the screen is a HUGE Blow up of Gibsons Mug instead of Mel and Danny in the same frame. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. | Posted: | | | | I think you are getting NTSC and PAL thoughts here.. If your player is region free or can play differant regions as long as you are In North America / Japan /Mexico and Austrailia you would be fine. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. However even though I am in R2/UK land I still wouldn't as: 1) US releases get DTS tracks, R2 don't. Also there's a commentary on the LW4 R1 that isn't on the R2 2) More importantly LW2 and LW4 have huge cuts in the UK versions (31 secs and 1 min 33 secs respectively) | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

Yep; the Certification board cuts certain things always and others it advises of cuts to get a specific certificate... there's nothing like a USA 'Unrated' in the UK - if it doesn't have a rating it's illegal to sell it (exception of certain documentaries) and that goes for TV series on DVD too.
