| Posted: | | | | I just brought "Stranger than Fiction" from Amazon marketplace cost $9.78 total. It is one of the best Will ferrell movies ever.
Plot: Will Ferrell stars as Harold Crick a lonely IRS agent whose mundane existence is transformed when he hears a mysterious voice narration his life. With the help of Professor Jules hiber (Dustin Hoffman), Harold discovers he's the main character in a novel - in - progress and that the voice belongs Karen Eiffel (Emma Thompson), an eccentric author famous for killing her main characters in creative ways. Harold must quickly track down Eiffel and stop her before she conjures up a way to finish him off.
It is funny but it is also a love story. |

| Posted: | | | | Ferrell, like many fine comedy actors, seems to have a flair for drama as well. I enjoy watching excellent performers find new ways to express their craft/art. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | I thought that this film was very enjoyable and it was very easy to connect with the principal characters, but I feel like they are trying to make Will Ferrell into the second coming of Bill Murray. Ferrell's representation of the lead character reminded me of many Murray roles in recent years.
Let me repeat before anyone blasts me; I really did enjoy this movie and his performance and have always liked Will Ferrell even though some of his comedies are a bit cheezey!!! |

| Posted: | | | | I never thought much of Will Ferrell until I saw him in "Winter Passing", which essentially is a drama, albeit with some quirky notes. He delivers a fine, nuanced perfomance, on par with Zoey Deschanel, who plays the main character, and easily surpassing the mere routine of Ed Harris. | | | Matthias |

| Posted: | | | | I liked the film so much that I bought the watch . Rather disappointed in it though. The light isn't very bright and it doesn't come on when the alarm goes off as it did in the film . | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | I loved this movie. I watched it some time ago, after receiving the DVD. I have to admit the premis was interesting and the resolution great! I am not normally a Will Ferrell fan but I like Emma Thompson as an actress and thought that it could only be interesting with her, and besides the trailer intrigued me. I would recommend it to anyone. | | | <---------Mithrandir, Laverne and Shirley Caroline |

| Posted: | | | | I thought this movie was great. i think Will Ferrell is incredibly funny at times, (specially in Jay and Silent bob... and in Talladega Nights), but i was converted into a fan when i saw Anchorman... yes i have simple tastes! | | | That's the thing about racism, though, most of it is covert.
