I "invented" Box Sets for my TV shows to shorten my DVD list (don't you worry, these are manual DVD's and I won't contribute any of them). For example, I packed all my 9 season of Stargate under the virtual Box Set "Stargate SG-1".
But I can't decide to which purchase date I should give it. Giving none is not an option, because phpDVDProfiler then sorts them under "January 01, 1970".
Now I have to decide whether I take the date of the first item or the last one I purchased.

I believe it's "$monthspecialcondition". You could set it to: $monthspecialcondition = "AND purchasedate > ".my_mktime(0,0,0,1,1,1990); | | | Achim [諾亞信； Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan.

Or, just use the date you made the "virtual box", or maybe a significant date from the show (if any).
Last opition is just make up something that sounds cool, or an average in between the first and last real box being released. |

For this, I usually add seasons 2+ as childs to the Season 1 profile. That way I don't have to bloat the database with phantom parents. |

Still I wonder which way is best for grouping together all the DVDs of a TV series. Yours or RossRoy's...
