| Posted: | | | | Hi all,
What are some of the more unusual, strange, or funny credits you've seen?
Here are two examples.
Recently I did credits for the tv series Dead Like Me (NL locality). After the opening title sequence during the first real scene, quite a lot of names are flashed up one by one, most of them producers of some kind or another:
Executive producer: John Masius
Consulting Producer: Bryan Fuller
Consulting Producer: Pete Ocko
Co-Producers: Dan Fesman, Harry Victor
Producer: Pascal Verschooris
Supervising Producer: Steve Beers
Co-Executive Producer: Stephen Godchaux
How many different kinds of producer does a tv show need? And do they really need to be listed in opening credits instead of at the end?
A fun one that isn't very well known is the Robocop copyright message:
This motion picture is protected under the laws of the United States and other countries and its unauthorized duplication, distribution or exhibition may result in civil liability and criminal prosecution by enforcement droids.
What strange credits have you encountered? It could be an odd role description, deliberate joke credits (Airplane!/Naked Gun style), or anything else amusing and credit-related you'd like to share.

| Posted: | | | | I watched a movie in the theatre recently and in the end credits were an auncountable amount of chinese special effects people (it was either Death Proof or The Simpsons)
And another movie I watched had a gag hidden in the copyright message at the end of the credits. Unfortunately I've forgotten which movie that was.
Help anyone? | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

In general on TV shows the writing staff gets Producer credits. Most of the producing credits you'll see are essentially writers for the shows with the main writer(s) for that particular episode credited as Writer. The producer in the classic sense is usually credited as "Produced by", whereas the "writing producer credits" usually end in "Producer" (e.g. "Producer", "Co-Producer", "Supervising Producer") | | |
