A site that we all know very well but are not allowed to ever mention  , protects its fullsize images with some javascript which results in webbrowsers not giving a context menu to copy the image.
I looked at the HTML source and its very simply a matter of :
onmousedown="return false;" onmousemove="return false;"
Does anyone know how I can tell my browser to ignore those directives ? Or maybe copy the images from the cache ?

I usually use the "Page Info" (Firefox) dialog to find and safe images from such sites.

...and I always thought they put transparent images with no content over the actual image.

Oops... should have looked deeper into the Firefox options. Where you enable/disable Javascript there is an Advanced button and there you can find a checkbox that tells whether or not webpages can modify/disable the context menus. Works with you-know-which-site .

If everything else fails I have yet to see the Javascript that stops print-screen, past in paint, cut the image out.

Agreed, but I use ScreenPrint32 which allows you to select the part of the page to grab and directly save it, among loads of other options.

Great little application imo, permanently sits in my system tray.

Save the page as 'full HTML page' and look inside the saved folder. Or, capture any area on the screen with the free MWsnap3 tool.
