| Posted: | | | | Ok, first off let me say this. I love cookie cutter. Not to the point that a movie is completely following another movie, but I love when 1 horror flick steals an idea from another and makes it better or expands it. I ( as a lot of you know ) watch a lot of horror movies. On average about 30-40 a month. Lately I have been watching a lot of horror movies from Korea and Austrailia. Korea is fairly deep with horror, and Austrailia is slowly but surely catching up. I watched this film 2 days ago ( poster below ) and fell in love. Sure it pokes fun at itself about 1,322 times and YES the movie is about sheep gone bad. But you know something, this was one fun as hell ride. Sometimes, because we all watch so many movies I think we forget along the way why we did and do collect movies in the first place. We get caught up in whatever your poison is, ie: the effects, the deep and confusing plot, the cinematography, etc. But we completely forget why most of us started to begin with. So I set off to watch this movie, and I'm not going to lie I was already excited to begin with. I mean, come on ... SHEEP PEOPLE ! and it never let me down. The movie has humor, fright scenes, a little gore, a decent storyline, and I will say it again....SHEEP PEOPLE!. It reminded me of Shaun of the Dead but with farm animals. Anyways people. I really liked this movie. Now, would I suggest you buy it ? If your a horror hound like Addicted2DVD or myself, then absolutely. If your a casual horror hound, or are curious about just how bad farm animals can get I would say rent it first. But keep your credit card close by because more so than not I believe it will be used a second time on this movie, albeit the second time bringing it home for good. - Rimmer ' | | | Look, I'm not much good at big speeches, and I know I haven't always been an easy guy to get on with, and I know, that given the choice, I wouldn't have chosen you as friends, but I just want to say, that over the years, I have come to regard you as people I met.

| Posted: | | | | I liked it, it was funny, but TBH was a little dissappointed. It was similar to Shaun of the Dead and i thought that was good too, but nothing special. So i guess i'm not that much into the genre. | | | Last edited: by whispering |

| Posted: | | | | You may also enjoy Dead Meat - an extremely low budget Irish affair that includes a killer cow. Although if you're not too familiar with the Irish brogue you may need the subtitles... |

| Posted: | | | | I had this on my Wish List the day I found out about it and ordered it a few hours ago.
I love horror comedy if done right (Dead Alive aka Braindead is one of all time favorite films; Peter, where's that Special Edition...?) Now having Rimmer's "approval" I am looking even more forward to it. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

Just ask my wife......seriously, are black curtains THAT unrealistic ??!?!!! - Rimmer ' | | | Look, I'm not much good at big speeches, and I know I haven't always been an easy guy to get on with, and I know, that given the choice, I wouldn't have chosen you as friends, but I just want to say, that over the years, I have come to regard you as people I met.

| Posted: | | | | I was able to see Black Sheep at the Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film this year. And when I read the synopsis, I was very excited. This one had potential. And although it was well made, I was rather disappointed. Sometimes, the movie took itself serious, at other times it was funny. It seemed like the moviemakers didn't know which way to go. For me, it wasn't serious enough, or it wasn't funny enough, so I had mixed feelings about this one. We did get in World-Premiere, a work-print viewing of "Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead". This is over the top movie extravaganza by Troma. Don't watch this if you are easily offended. But if you are a horror buff, you might enjoy this one. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

Black curtains? *ya_shin cancels order* ...just kidding. I have seen what sorts of movies you like and while I wouldn't go "Rimmer likes it, so I want it too" (while curious in some ways, I don't really want to see Iichi the Killer), if you like something that's on my Wish List already, then that's soemthing I can go by. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. - Rimmer ' Still no DVD release date yet. I saw Troma made it available for screening in theatres last summer. I really want to get an unrated DVD of this movie. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm
