| Posted: | | | | I watch horror movies pretty much every month, so never really thought about doing anything special like that. I might have a marathon session on Halloween night (keeping the sound down and the lights off so the trick & treaters don't know I'm in). But don't you think Scary Movie 4 is pushing it a bit? |

| Posted: | | | | Pretty determined there, aren't you? The wife and I are ramping up for our annual Halloween Movie Marathon. Every year we choose a different theme, last year's was a rarity and we watched funny vampire flicks (Once Bitten, Dracula: Dead and Loving, It, etc.), culminating in the Rocky Horror Picture Show, of course. This year, we're going to watch at least one horror flick a night, then the weekend before the day, we're going to watch all of the movies mentioned in the RHPS theme, "Double Feature." At least, all the ones we can find. I love Halloween. | | | I was wise once; when I was born, I cried - Welsh proverb |

| Posted: | | | | Oh... I am determined... just hope being determined will be enough... as I still have to watch at least 18 more horror movies by the end of the month (I don't count the TV Episodes for that goal) to beat my personal best! Yours sounds like fun too. | | | Pete |

Trick and Treating is the worst import we have adopted in the UK from our friends across the water hordes of little chavs bashing your door down and demanding sweets or money Closely followed by the fashion for men to wear their jeans halfway down their legs with their butts hanging out | | | |

Trick and Treating is the worst import we have adopted in the UK from our friends across the water hordes of little chavs bashing your door down and demanding sweets or money I once thought I'd give out candy but was quickly persuaded otherwise when all I got for four straight hours were a bunch of emo-wannabes (as my wife is Goth, this was met with many giggles and snide remarks) banging on my door and threatening "tricks" if I didn't comply. So, now we turn off all the lights, lock the screen doors and park the car behind the house. And we decorate inside the house for our own enjoyment. Hijacking over. Hijacking over. | | | I was wise once; when I was born, I cried - Welsh proverb | | | Last edited: by Bluefox75 |

Seriously though... I haven't had the chance to get/see 1408... any good? I really liked it - by far one of the best King films I've seen; right up there with Cujo, Carrie, Misery, Dreamcatcher, Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile (oh, and The Stand, Desperation, Storm of the Century and, and, and.... ) But seriously - well worth a look (I especially enjoyed the DC version). | | | Berak
