Star Trek Fan Collective - Captain's Log Star Trek Fan Collective - Borg Star Trek Fan Collective - Time Travel Star Trek Fan Collective - Q Star Trek Fan Collective - Klingon
Of course, the episodes in these collectives have already been released on DVD, but there are additional commentaries that aren't included in the Complete Series releases. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

Not included in the Complete Series releases?? I must admit, that I didn't watch the DVD features complete! I wish, I didn't ask O.K. - my collection may never be complete... Q'APLA | | | Thorsten |

And dare I mention Free Enterprise? Ok, it's not Star Trek, but it's a really fun movie. | | | Build a man a fire and you keep him warm for a day. Set a man on fire and you keep him warm the rest of his life. |

;) Yepp, I know that this exists. But is this Animated Series really satisfactorily for Star Trek collectors? The price for this box seems to be a little bit high for a "blind" purchase. | | | Thorsten |

Got me But well, I have no HD equipment at home, so I'm not ready to buy an alternative edition of the same series. And AFAIK this new edition contains faked special effects, which where not available in the original series?! Seems to me like Frankenstein from 1931 in colour and DTS 7.1 Nevertheless, I like the old one I own. Apart from the purchase price for the new edition (about 125,- EUR I think..) | | | Thorsten |

Tough for me to say. I haven't seen it since I was a kid (when it was on TV). It was fun then, but possibly immature now. I did like the fact that Larry Niven (one of my favorite sci-fi writers) wrote for it, and I enjoyed the fact that the math worked out for the five year mission - 3 seasons original Star Trek, 2 seasons animated series. Other than that, it's been far too long since I've seen it to recommend it. | | | Build a man a fire and you keep him warm for a day. Set a man on fire and you keep him warm the rest of his life. |

Paramount learned their lessons well from Senor Lucas, they simply recreated the Original series using state-of-the-art effects and polished some of the matte paintings a bit. It came out really well. Or as the Okudas put it, this is what Star Trek would look like if Gene were doing it today. They also did an oustanding job on the TAS. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! Price too high ???? It's available from www.play.com for only 23.49€ with free shipping worldwide. It's a must have simply because certain Star Trek facts are introduced for the first time. The first holodeck appearance is in the Animated series. Also Kirk's middle name "Tiberius" was established here. Regards | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm
