Quote: Når du har lagt til alle filmene, kan du bla rundt i kartoteket ditt, og all informasjon er hentet ned lokalt til maskinen slik at du ikke er avhengig av nettilgang for å bruke programmet. Informasjonen er også krysslenket slik den er på IMDb - blant annet kan du klikke på en skuespiller for å få se alle filmene du eier der denne skuespilleren bidrar. IMHO it means that profiler works like IMDB with crosslinked actors. When you click on one actor, you can see all your associated films you own. Not the real translation, but a try Edit. Hopefully one of our Scandinavian users can translate this correct... | | | Thorsten | | | Last edited: by kahless |

| Posted: | | | | Are you part Norwegian or something, kahless? You are absolutely correct. It's just saying that the information is cross-linked just as it is on IMDB. Among other things, you you can click on an actor to see alt the movies in your collection that he appears in. Other points: -They say that DVD Profiler is known as the best application for those that like to organize their DVDs -They highlight that the application works locally, so you don't need to stay online to use it. -They also highlight that you can register who loans your DVDs -The Pick a movie feature is a plus -They mention plugins, but that there aren't that many of them. (Apparently they have only seen the official plugins, not the ones posted in the forum) | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity | | | Last edited: by reybr |

I use the English version myself, haven't heard all good about the translated versions... And every single other program I use is in English version, on job or at home. Are you using the Norwegian translated version with no trouble bentyman? | | | We are all at the same age, only at different time... |

| Posted: | | | | If it's like the Swedish translation it hasn't been updated in ages.
I use English myself, the terminology is less confusing if everything is in English, plus it matches better with the rules and online etc. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

But usually i only add credits to finnish (CoO) DVD's anyway, cause the english speaking users are doing such a good job with the english DVD's that i hardly ever have to do them Other then that i feel more comfortable reading finnish. | | | Last edited: by whispering |

Are you using the Norwegian translated version with no trouble bentyman? I am using the translated version, but it's still a mixture of Norwegian and English in the program.
