| Posted: | | | | Since Toshiba has shut down production of HD-DVD players I wonder how long it takes before exclusive HD-DVD movies will come to BD. Movies such as U-571, King Kong, Happy Gilmore etc etc... Universal and Paramount must rerelease their catalog so we can buy it on BD. Anyone know how long these things take? | | | "What's God?" Paramount reporteldy has some titles (Transformers, Jack Ryan, Blades of Glory, Top Gun) in a warehouse with other previously released titles. Universal and other Paramount titles would take about 90 days. There was also some claims that Universal would "re-master" all of their previously released HD DVD titlles, but no one knows if that was really the case. | | | Signature banned: Reason out of date... |

| Posted: | | | | Weee, that sounds just perfect. Most of all I looking forward to see Transformers for the third time, now in BD I just sold my Toshiba HD-EP10 player among with all my 20 movies, so I got rid of it.. The future is blue If I can buy the 9 movies I sold on HD-DVD on BD I would be very satisfied, and I personally don't think it won't take long before Universal and Paramount goes blu too :o | | | "What's God?"
