| | Posted: | | | | I've been thinking about it for a month or so. I thought it was called "Night of the Living Dead," but I found that one at my local DVD-pusher today, and the overview has nothing to do with what I remember...
What I remember: I believe it is from the 80'es. Is is about a group of people that barricades them self in a crematorium, as some acid-like rain, caused by burning a zombie, starts to "wake up" the nearby cemetery - and of course, these zombies are out to get fresh meat, specifically brains, IIRC. The genre, I believe, is best described as "splatter-comedy"...

If it's another movie, it's a rip-off of ROTLD and should be destroyed and replaced with ROTLD.  An all-time favorite of mine. I love it as much now as I did when I first saw it in 85 or so (first VHS release). Unfortunatly both R1 dvds have a "re-mixed" and "upgraded" soundtrack. Purists like myself aren't too happy about the lead zombie voices being different, but that's what the director wanted so I guess it's O.K. Didn't affect my enjoyment anymore than a second of thinking "that does sound way different". |

| | Posted: | | | | "Not so good" is a gross understatement for parts 4 and 5, especially if you've got to endure the cut versions released here in Germany. They're terrible and IMO even Uwe Boll couldn't have delivered a worse job.
I agree that the first two are good (Pt.2) / very good(Pt. 1) movies, part 3 is ok and lives off the "Yuzna-Myth" a lot (something I oftentimes fail to understand). | | | | Lutz |

5 was Rave to the Grave right, with 4 being Necropolius? I have Rave cuz it was $2 when Hollywood was shutting down. I like it more than Necro, which I rented and couldn't stand.
I'll have to give part 2 another try soon. I haven't seen it in years but remember thinking it went too far on the comedy and didn't have that perfect blend of comdey and horror like the first did. |
