| Posted: | | | | Hmm perhaps the wrong place to ask or make a comment but is there a program/site of even invelos itself that offers an online collection service for games. Atm I am using dvd profiler (and yes paying customer ) for my 1100+ dvd's en BR but also got an extensive game library. I know ign.com offers some sort of collection service but isn't that great...soooo does anyone perhaps know any other methods? Thanks in advance |

| Posted: | | | | Hi SonicRPR, I have the same problem but with comic books. I went on with a trail version from collectorz.com. But DVDprofiler is so far ahead of those guys, That it gets on my nerves. Not to be able to process and add new items to your collections (comics) as easily as for my DVDs. Maybe with games, you'll have better luck. But I'm thinking and I'm not sure, I would want to go that way for my collection. I'm using the trial version, and they are not selling me, so far. Considering the time that we put in to add each items of your collection. (it would be a lot of hours in my case) I want something that I would be please to use in the long run. I wish DVDprofiler would go also to other medium, like books and especially comics. I know that it would be hard and long because (unlike DVDs that have been around for +/- a decade) there is so much years of published comic books to cover... I know it can be done ... all the ISBN are available for the bookstores, so we have the database just need a place (like a profiler software ) to deliver it to us. So I don't think anyone from Invelos will mind, using the knowledge that is available on this forum. (knowing that their product is far better than whats out there. I mean it.) Cheers Proud user of DVDprofiler for about 5-6 years now. |

Not to be able to process and add new items to your collections (comics) as easily as for my DVDs. I trialled the Comics and the Books ones yesterday, and apart from realising I was just as well off to return to putting both into a single database in BookDB2, it made me realise how good DVD Profiler actually is! The difference between the two is astonishing (I know they're not quite comparable). | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |
