| Posted: | | | | Hi, I´m searching Italian movies made after 1999, I lived for one year there and I still understand the language but I want to improve so subtitles even in italian in the dvd edition are required. Any help? Doesn't matter the genre just has to be a good movie the last ones that i've watch was La stanza del figlio, La méglio gioventú e radiofreccia. I hope you can help me. Thanks | | | "E ho guardato dentro casa tua e ho capito che era una follia avere pensato che fossi soltanto mia..." |

At that time the Italian cinema was one of the strongest in Europe and produce a lot of "classic", the Italian cinema industry is now just a shadow of what it was. If you decide to give a chance to the older movies try any movie by Mario Bava or Dario Argento. | | | Last edited: by Jimmy S |

Sad but true. I quite agree with Quentin Tarantino's statement on Italian cinema. There are a few exceptions though, for instance Pane e tulipani. Quote: If you decide to give a chance to the older movies try any movie by Mario Bava or Dario Argento.
I would also recommend anything by Leone, Visconti or Monicelli, but I guess Inf3rno knows them already. | | | -- Enry | | | Last edited: by White Pongo, Jr. |

Thanks for the advice, I have seen some movies from that time and they're really amazing, Dario Argento is very cool. Bu now I am searching for recent movies. My favourite directors are Fellini, Visconti,Bertolucci, Ettore Scola, Sergio Leone, Nanni Moretti. | | | "E ho guardato dentro casa tua e ho capito che era una follia avere pensato che fossi soltanto mia..." |
