If you like the Marvel movies and are looking forward to all the new ones coming out, it look likes Captain America is being setup in both Iron Man and the Hulk (maybe).

Captain America's shield makes an appearance in Iron Man and possibly the super soldier serum in the Hulk.

Here's a link - http://www.beyondhollywood.com/caps-shield-in-iron-man-super-soldier-serum-in-hulk/

There are also talks of Iron Man (or Toy Stark) having a cameo in he new Hulk movie.

From what I heard....

Tony Stark is in the Hulk movie, as his company is suppoosed to have developed the Hulk serum.

The cameos all started with SPOILER WARNING...

The very end of the end credits of Iron Man when we had a cameo by Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury talking about the Avenger initiative.

I also heard that the Hulk movie is more of a re-boot than a sequel, and that there will be more Marvel movies in 2009 with cameos and 2010 leading up to 2011's Avengers movie.

Without googling this , I thought the June 08 release of that movie ( Hulk),, was called "The Incredible Hulk" ,, ( like the TV series )., and that Ang Lee's movie from '03 was just The HULK ..,,

Last I heard was:

Iron Man - now
Hulk - later this year
Captain America - 2009
Iron Man 2 - 2010
Thor - about six months after Iron Man 2
Avengers - 2011

Not sure if any other "Avengers" are going to have movies before 2011 or if other members will be introduced when they do that movie.

From Entertainment Weekly

Following Iron Man's impressive $98.6 million debut this weekend, Marvel Studios has set a date for a sequel: April 30, 2010. Meanwhile, the comic-book-based entertainment company has unveiled the roster of superhero movies it plans to release during the next three years:

· Thor — June 4, 2010 (with Stardust's Matthew Vaughn on board to direct)

· The First Avenger: Captain America — May 6, 2011

· The Avengers — July 2011 (bringing together the characters of Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Captain America, and Thor in one movie)

· Ant-Man — In development (with Hot Fuzz's Edgar Wright attached to write and direct)

All of these features will be financed, developed, and produced by Marvel. While the company had enjoyed great success for more than a decade with movies based on many of its popular characters — including Spider-Man, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four — it only recently started fully financing and producing its own films. Iron Man was the first major release under this new plan; The Incredible Hulk arrives in theaters on June 13.

I followed the crowd out of the theaters at the beginning of the credits

Marvel likes to show stuff after the credits.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind as a general rule of thumb in the future...
