| Posted: | | | | Dear Friends and Relatives:
I have the distinguished honor of being on the committee to raise $5,000,000 for a monument of George W. Bush. We originally wanted to put him on Mt. Rushmore until we discovered there was not enough room for two more faces.
We then decided to erect a statue of George in the Washington, D. C. Hall Of Fame. We were in a quandary as to where the statue should be placed. It was not proper to place it beside the statue of George Washington, who never told a lie, or beside Jesse Jackson, who never told the truth, since George could never tell the difference.
We finally decided to place it beside Christopher Columbus, the greatest Republican of them all. He left not knowing where he was going, and when he got there he did not know where he was. He returned not knowing where he had been, and did it all on someone else's money.
Thank you. The George W. Bush Monument Committee.
P. S. The Committee has raised $1.35 so far. | | | The future is here. It's just not widely distributed yet. (William Gibson) |

Don't mix up socialistic and social. From the European point of view Obama is as socialistic as CocaCola. Yep... A few months ago, a Danish newspaper held their own little "election" asking people on the street who they would want for president of the US. Hillary won hands down! IIRC, she got about 86% of the votes... They asked about 600 people, so the statistics should be fine... | | | The future is here. It's just not widely distributed yet. | Posted: | | | | All I can say is thank GOD, we are still the U.S. and we still elect our OWN President and elected officials. If anything the poll results that I monitor from elsewhere have hardened my position and who I will ultimately vote for.

| Posted: | | | | Let's hope it will be Obama, at least that is what the rest of the world and we here in Germany think. No one wants a repuplican again. Bush made the USA the most hated country in the world and I think Obama will be the right man to fix this! | | | www.tvmaze.com |

| Posted: | | | | We haven't given up our sovereignty yet and don't plan to yet. Besides being a MARXIST Obama has far too many liabilities and far too many character issues, as one can see quite plainly by the people he has chosen to associate himself with over the years. In short, in this American's opinion the man is a liar.

Besides being a MARXIST Obama has far too many liabilities and far too many character issues, as one can see quite plainly by the people he has chosen to associate himself with over the years. In short, in this American's opinion the man is a liar. This is one of the reasons why I think the poll result came out as it did! I would think, that of all the candidates, a VERY large percentage (myself included), Hillary is the only one that the danes believe they really know! The rest of them are just names to them/us... Danish news-coverage have very much focused on the battle between Hillary and Obama, like it was the only thing that mattered. It will be one of these two that is the next president... Oh, McCain is mentioned, but according to the danish news coverage, he couldn't even be elected president of Disneyland... Most of the world were amazed when Bush was elected for second term - "How stupid can those Americans be?" Well, let's not go there - I think we should just assume that maybe they had better knowledge about the candidates than we did. They may have re-elected a blabbering idiot, but I'm not sure that many non-Americans knew what the alternatives were. I didn't (and don't). Politics doesn't really interest me either. To me, elections is nothing more than voting for the lesser of two evils... Just because the <insert your nationality here> media focuses on one or two candidates, that doesn't necessarily mean that he/she is the best one for the job... | | | The future is here.
