| Posted: | | | | I can think of a few ways:
- Add "Media Type" as one of the columns in the collection listing. Do this by right-clicking anywere on your list, selecting "View Columns" in the popup menu, and putting a checkmark next to "Media Type." This will then allow you to see from looking at the list which are Blu-ray and which are DVD, as well as sort the list by media type (by clicking on that column heading) so all Blu-rays are listed together.
- Use a filter to filter your collection to show only Blu-ray. Do this by selecting the "Formats" tab in the Filters window, and putting a checkmark in the "BluRay" box. To get back to the regular collection list just click the "Clear All Filters" button.
- Sorting the collection by media type (without adding the column as in the first section above.) Do this by accessing the menu like this: Collection -> Sort By -> Media Type -> Descending. This will then put all Blu-rays at the top of your collection listing.
- Using tags. As lyonsden5 pointed out, you could create tags (using the Set Tags tab) for all your Blu-rays and then using the "Tags" tab of the Filters window to sort all your Blu-rays. However, to me this seems like its more work for no added benefit since you can already sort by Media Type. Although maybe there's some added benefits to using the tags this way that I can't think of.

| Posted: | | | | I'm taking advantage of the ability to nest boxsets. I've created a manual profile called HD. Under that I have two more manual profiles called HD DVD and Blu-ray. Then I've assigned all my HD DVDs and Blu-ray movies to the proper profile. It's kind of hard to explain, but this is what it looks like with my TV sets (where I've done the same thing): | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |
