Wanting to share my DVD collection with my family and friends.  Invelos and Default Dta Db has been loaded while Admin onto WHS.  Tested Invelos from LAN, works fine, but when WHS is accesed remotely, WHS requires a download to the requesting PC.

How do I get Invelos Software to run on Windows Home Server without the server requiring a download to the remote PC?

Any help, is of course, Most Appreciated

There are some useful resources available here.

In particular, have a look at the Technical briefs & developer resources section and the article on Remote Access.

One other area  to look at as well is to actually upload your collection so it is not only in your PC but is ready to go on the internet for all types of browsers and PC's to see..  right now I just checked
http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/fog    and it says :

Empty Online Collection
This online collection is empty. If you are the owner of this account, please upload your collection by selecting Online->DVD Profiler Online from DVD Profiler's main menu.

Am I on the right track with your question? ....

A solid idea.  Presently the resources are being gone through, only as yet I have not found the actual key.  thanks

The is an alternative, of course.  This idea is quite favorable, only my direction was providing it more personally via my Windows Home Server.  It's paid for and my feeling is, "It needs to do some work!"

Thanks
