| Posted: | | | | Been dabbling recently in the past few years with Digital video., , both jpgs and digital Camcorder, and I like throwing together some quick home video footage of Family events and Vacations.. , mixed with special effects and a separate audio track playing below the main audio. The quick swipes with digital effects is always a crowd pleaser. I have been using Windows Movie Maker since it came with XP Pro.., and it's okay.. But yesterday I had occasion to see what some others can use for i.e. school projects and even personal family weddings., and I was blown away with the way that i.e. Main Menu can have interactive video clips playing on a loop, with two or three menu items to choose within the menu that will take you to another area of the menu that again have more interactive video and choices to choose from.. So I googled and see that in wikipedia there is other programs to choose from.., But what have you found to be easy to use , not too expensive and simple to run on a setup similar to what I have here: Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600) WinFast 6100M2MA FAB1.0 2.00 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 256 kilobyte primary memory cache 1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache Board: WinFast 6100M2MA FAB1.0 Bus Clock: 201 megahertz BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 08/28/2006 Drives Memory Modules c,d 320.05 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity 296.62 Gigabytes Hard Drive Free Space | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Other software may be a bit more powerful (and far more expensive), but nothing beats their intuitive interface. I've tried others but for my needs the Pinnacle line of products is best. Saw an ad in the paper for v12 Ultimate for only $59 after rebate. | | | JAFO
