| Posted: | | | | Just bought the straight to DVD Batman: Gotham Knight, and saw a anti-piracy promo I had never seen before yesterday.
I am talking about the one that uses footage from the "Wizard of Oz".
Have I just bought the wrong DVDs lately, and this is old news? Or is this a new entertaining way to get folks to lower the Skull & Crossbones?

Bobb Forgive me for being a jerk, but I am so tired of the anti-piracy campaign. I already bought the disc, and prates normally do not include the message on their burned discs so why do I need to be punished with the 30 second to minute and thirty second commercial about why I should steal a disc I didn't steal in the first place. I think the MPAA and FBI have really missed their target audience this time. |

| Posted: | | | | IA so much ^. People who download movies are gonna remove the ad anyway if they will get it.. Although I'm noticing you can skip the ad now on some recent dvd's.
I haven't seen that specific commercial yet thank god. | | | Last edited: by fabuleux |

We have the same on UK DVD's, drives me bonkers as they are mostly non-skip able it seems, what market at they trying to get at, I've clearly purchased the DVD! Dave... |

| Posted: | | | | The anti-piracy messages aren't directed at bootleggers but to those in the general public that aren't aware that copying discs is illegal. You and I know that copying, selling and sharing DVD media is illegal but there are countless thousands out there that have no idea that it's a no no. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |
