| Posted: | | | | Is it worth getting the set? Or, get the movies individually? I guess it depends on how much you like the extras. | | | Just in from somewhere left of the middle of nowhere The Holy See Hell |

| Posted: | | | | I assume you're referring the this new release of the Godfather collection: The Godfather: The Coppola Restoration Region 1 Released: 9/23/2008 Anamorphic 1.85:1 The Godfather and The Godfather Part II have been fully restored with DD 5.1. The Godfather Part III has been fully remastered. In addition to the Special Features included in the 2001 release of this set the following supplements are included: - Godfather World - The Masterpiece That Almost Wasn't - When the Shooting Stopped - Emulsional Rescue Revealing The Godfather - The Godfather on the Red Carpet - Four Short Films on The Godfather I haven't watched them yet, so I can't compare the quality of the restoration compared to the earlier releases. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | I think I'll be getting them for the restorations. We don't have a BluRay player or HiDef tv yet, but it's good to have a small library ready to watch. I believe we will be getting the player first. Any suggestions on which one? | | | Just in from somewhere left of the middle of nowhere The Holy See Hell |

| Posted: | | | | If you have a modern AV receiver able to decode the hi-def sound formats, take a look at the Panasonic DMP-BD35. If you don't, its more expensive sibling the Panasonic DMP-BD55 provides 7.1 Hi-Def analog output. If you're into gaming as well, the Sony PlayStation 3 is a steal. No analog sound output though. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

| Posted: | | | | Does anybody know if the UK Blu-Ray version will have dutch subtitles? The price in the UK will probably be 40% lower than the Benelux. Prices still haven't dropped a cent on Blu-Ray in the last 6 months | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm
