I am curious if some of the Firefox users here could help could come up with a keyword bookmark search for the invelos forums,

I have tried (http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=search) but it doesn't seem to work.

The forum search kinda bites. I'd suggest this instead:

http://www.google.com/advanced_search?q=site:invelos.com

Thank you very much Astrakan,

was able to set up a keyword search via that link as well (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&suggon=0&as_q=%s&as_epq=&=&=&=&as_oq=&as_eq=&num=10&lr=&as_filetype=&ft=i&as_sitesearch=invelos.com&as_qdr=all&as_rights=&as_occt=any&cr=&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&safe=off for anyone interested)

For Opera it would be:
http://www.google.com/search?as_sitesearch=invelos.com&as_q=%s

Quickstart for personal searches:
Alt&p - Search - Add - Details
Now give it a name, a shortcut that isn't already used and paste the line above into address and klick OK

Now just type your shortcut and the searchword(s) into the addressline.

I wrote a Greasemonkey-script (again  ) to add the Google search to the page.

Link to the script.

BTW: The biggest disadvantage of using Google is the fact that it has no access to the Beta and Plugin forums.

Finally it is happening
When I suggested it two years ago in the German Profiler forum, this idea got shot down. My suggestion then was, to catch the submit event of the Invelos' (then Intervocative's) search field and redirect to the Google search. Is this possible with Greasemonkey?

It would be possible to catch the event, but you cannot limit the timespan and the forums like the Invelos search engine does. All in all it would be the same as the custom search I use.

I prefer two ways: The Google search for a general search and the Invelos Search for special searches (from a specific forum or timeframe).
