| Posted: | | | | What's the difference between these audioformats? An example, my copy of The Simpsons movie is listed as "English DTS HD HR" in the audio section. On the back cover it says: "Language: English DTS 5.1 HD" and behind that the 5.1 speaker logo. Further down the cover I see the logo for: "dts-hd master audio" So what is the difference between those formats? Is HR short for High Resolution, and is HR a compressed format? | | | "What's God?" | Posted: | | | | DVDP previously only supported listing DTS HR but as you've seen there's also DTS HD Master Audio. Master Audio is lossless while HR is lossy - Here's a Wikipedia link detailing them Click |
