Since upgrading to the never version (not-beta) I'm getting cascading errors of this type A LOT.

I use Win2k/Firefox, so is there a setting or preference I can use to tell Profiler what browser I use?

you should tell this in the operating system. And perhaps you should update your IE explorer for Win2k.
Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

3.1 worked fine.  Why is this screwing up?  With the previous version I didn't get this error message. With the database format change I HAD to upgrade because I was getting new and different error messages every time  I updated profiles.

Nothing has changed about the operating system of browser.

Try temporarily disabling any plugins you have installed.

Which version of Win2K (service pack)?
Which version of the M$ - IE?
Did you try to disable the access on IE via "System -> Standard programs"?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
