There's a French horror flick called "Possession" which supposedly came out on DVD 30 September, but I notice that it's out of stock or, more ominously, withdrawn by the manufacturer now, according to which web site you query. Anyone know the reason this has been withdrawn?

Rumours on the forums suggest a rights issue. All mention of the film have been removed from the Blue Undergorund website.
Although if you're desperate Amazon.com Marketplace have copies of the old Anchor Bay double bill with Shock at prices starting at $25.

I bet if you look hard enough you can find the old AB solo disc as well, although it's probably cheaper and easier to find the double-bill with Shock as the solo disc has been OOP for years before the double even existed. I wish I never sold my solo disc. I ddin't care much for the flick the first time watching it, but then got the double for cheap and loved the movie when I gave it a second chance.
Like 99% of other Anchor Bay titles, the content of both releases is identical, probably right down to the disc ID, so don't worry about one being better.
