| Posted: | | | | This isn't exactly cutting edge news but I just found out about these two titles' BD releases. Firelfy came out on Nov 11th and will work on region A+B players. Can't believe I missed this. Be warned the CGI footage is only standard def, but I've heard that the live action shots look good and the sound is great. -Details-Serenity is out on region A Dec 30th and Region B Jan 5th. -Details- |

(I was wondering which would be the first film i'd quadruple-dip on. Now i know.) | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! | | | Last edited: by tweeter |

| Posted: | | | | I watched the first half of the first episode of Firefly & couldn't get into it. Do you think it would be worth me going back & revisiting it? I do normally like sci-fi series. |

Be sure to watch them in the right order though, not the messed up order that Fox originally aired them. The DVDs are in the right order. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks! Looks like I'm going to need to find some more money to spend on my Blu-ray collection Like you, I don't know of anyone who would've heard of it so can't borrow from them. |

| Posted: | | | | Already have and watched Firefly on Blu-Ray. It was a bittersweet experience. On the one hand it was wonderful seeing what was one of my favorite TV series in all it's magnificence on Blu-Ray. On the other hand It just made me that much madder at Fox for prematurely pulling the plug on such a great series. I also have Serenity on pre-order at Amazon. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

Like you, I don't know of anyone who would've heard of it so can't borrow from them. If you find a bargain on the BDs wing me a PM Priced them up on Amazon.com and it came to nearly £50 (about the same as .co.uk) and as much as I love Firefly, I just can't afford that atm. |

I absolutely loved this series. In my opinion it isn't simply a failed science fiction weekly drama because the characters that Joss Whedon created here are deep and alive, not just typical wannabe Star Wars knock-offs. Combine this with a definite "Old Western" theme and it is a fabulous series that despite its short run, has an extremely deep mythology!!! The bad is that everytime I watch them, I lament that I will never explore deeper into the stories in the "Verse" and these wonderful characters!!! | | | My Collection!!! |

| Posted: | | | | Took the plunge and ordered this morning Just couldn't wait any longer.. I kept telling myself: "maybe if Fox make enough money off the release they'll see the error of their ways and commission another series!" |

| Posted: | | | | Just finished watching the series, it seems shorter and shorter each time I watch it The roundtable was great but I do wish they'd have splashed out on a decent amaray case. Anyway, roll on Jan 5th! |
