And that little news-snippet does nothing to raise my low opinon of football. Quote: Incidentally, has anyone seen this movie yet? I don't and most likely I won't until it airs in TV in a few years. Quote: Is it as bad as I'm anticipating? Yes it is. Of course the statement is just a guess, but the remakes that doesn't blow completely are so rare that I go with the good old "guilty, until proven innocent". cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

| Posted: | | | | Even 007 would wince at that, being outgunned several thousand to one. Just saw the film today, high marks to Reeves and Connelly, overall the environmental theme versus the anti-war theme of the original was not overplayed. The earth did stamnd still ala the Original and the endng was signifcantly underplayed, could have used a bit more development there. I'll give it a C+. Gort is one very big robot. Sequel since it was in New York, Roland Emmerich's Godzilla versus Gort. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | BTW, MarEll, I am intrigued by the article now that i have seen the film. I wonder if there was some second unit work done for specific Localities. The version shown stateside, had Giants Stadium in New Jersey being demolished, not anything in Germany, maybe a UK release would take out Wembley.

Skip Actually, Keanu was pretty good in that movie. Well, let's just say that his somewhat empty characterization worked nicely in the context. I didn't quite understand him being related to Denzel Washington, though. Denzel was just too full of smiles to be brother to a piece of wood like Keanu. |
