Hello,

I would like to warn fellow users not to use this shop.

On 4 december 2008, I ordered a DVD at this site. On 5 december, my VISA card was credited. The same day, I got an email the DVD was no longer available for delivery, and I would get a refund.

1 month later, still no refund. I have sent them 5 emails already. Not even a single reply.

AVOID AT ALL COST.

Regards,
Chris

If I was to post all the web sites that haven't credited my Credit card after 60 days  We would need a new forum extension.....

If you want quick and immediate service you must go thru Visa for this....

That's certainly not the experience I have. I didn't require refunds much, but the times I did, It was always taken care of in a matter of days.

Besides it's the lack of communication that bothers me the most. I understand they get a lot of email, and replies are not immediate, but within a week any email should be answered.

They didn't even bother to reply in a month

Lousy shop in my opinion.

If they don't reply to mails you could try to call them by phone to find out what went wrong.

Contact your bank and have them reverse the transaction.  If you wait too long, they won't be able to do so.

Thanks to everybody for the tips and tricks.

I'll just have to remember to take my visa credit statement to work, I just forgot 3 times in a row

There is a phonenumber on the back where I can file a complaint, and if I read correctly, you have 3 months time to do this. I'll try to do this tomorrow

I only do bussiness with webshops that allow me to use a transfer (overschrijving formulier) with homebanking. When things go bad a reversal is easyly done trough the bank (check with your bank)

Heres the exact opposite, sure banks can reverse the transaction, but dont really do it, at all. Visa on the other hand is insured, just a letter and they will get your money back.

I sent a fax to BCC, and included the emails from Delta-Shopping, and 2 days later, my money was refunded

I must agree with whispering, getting money back from the credit card company is probably much easier, than getting a refund from the bank.

In germany the basic rules are as follows.

If you allow a shop/company to withdraw money from your account ("Lastschriftverfahren"), you can go to your bank and object the withdrawal. Then the bank will return your money. That is easy within the first six weeks, later it's also possible but more complicated.

If you use VISA you simply say to VISA that it was wrong and they will return your money, too.

If you transfer the money on your own ("Überweisung") then it looks bad. Then you have to contact the receiver and deal directly with him and if he doesn'ta agree with your POV this could take a while.
