| Posted: | | | | Went and saw Frost/Nixon last night with Stacy Keach as Nixon and I must say, "What a perfomance!" I started to forget that I was watching a play and thought I was watching the real thing, plus it helped that I was in the second row. Since this play is on tour and if it comes to your town be sure to go and see it. I haven't see the movie yet, since they refuse to show it here, but can't wait to see it on DVD. | | | We're on a mission from God.

PS: I can't picture Stacy Keach as Nixon. Sorry, it's playing here in Cleveland at Playhouse Square until this Sunday, it was a two week engagement. As for Stacy Keach going in all I could think of him in was Titus as Christopher Titus' dad, but once he got on stage that all went away. He wasn't impersonating Nixon, but he had the mannerisms and the look down pat. As for the movie, for some reason none of the theaters in this area are showing the movie. My brother and I really wanted to see that, but we heard about the play on the radio and decided to go to that instead and I'm glad we did. | | | We're on a mission from God.

I just checked to see what movies I would like to go see on Friday, since I have the day off and what do you know. Frost/Nixon has come to town. It looks like the play might have been the reason for the delay. | | | We're on a mission from God.

Frost/Nixon with Keach was just at the Warner down in DC last month. I expect Langella to get an Oscar nomination in the morning for his performance in the film.

Skip Kinda have doubts Langella will an Oscar though, since the Academy could say, "Well he did win a Tony already for the part." But who knows, right? | | | We're on a mission from God.
