| | Posted: | | | | As someone who photographs the kittens I foster, I can tell you right now that photographing a kitten is nearly futile. For every 10 pictures you take, one may be almost suitable for sharing.
Tip: Get a camera with a fast shutter speed (my Nikon D60 has really impressed me there), have lots of light including sunlight (key being light sources from multiple directions), and just keep pushing the button to snap photos.
