Judges tentatively order the release of 58,000 california inmates (roughly the equivalent population of 7 entire state prisons) over the next three years.

Just what we need...more criminals out on the streets in this depressed economy. Arnold and friends have screwed up this state so much that soon it will be populated solely with illegal aliens and California state prison inmates .

It's not too surprising to hear really. The incarceration stats and costs involved in the state looks fairly grim,
as are the total USA stats it's sad to say. How accurate all that is remains to be proven, but there's definitely room for improvement in the system somewhere.

On the spot executions upon apprehension would save a lot of money.

Liberals complain about our sheriff and his policies of housing inmates in tents and bologna sandwiches.

Changes that might help correct the problem:
1. All people working in the justice system have periodic drug, financial checks, mental & competency tests; If it is good enough for pro athletes why not.
2. Standardized tests for any promotion.
3. Judges separate training & career field than lawyers, civil servants not political appointments;
4. No plea bargaining, this is a cop-out for laziness and incompetence;
5. A US definition standardizations of criminal complaints and a nation data base for crimes other than misdemeanors; if Amazon can keep that of all my purchases for the last 10 years why can't the government keep track of criminals;
6. Use of up to four digital recording for criminal trials, cameras pointing at the judge, witnesses, the deference and prosecutors. The results edited by review of the defense and persecutors together then showed to a jury. This place a limitation lawyers games. Any review would then have a permanent record. It would save time for jurors. I would hate get stuck on some on these trials for days while lawyers jack around and play their games.
7. No live TV.
8. Better training for criminologist and better labs.

To many prosecutors are more concerned about their next political job, moving up to governor or federal office. A cooling off period between political jobs.

I remember the Simpson trail, before it started all the talking head on the major networks were lauding how wonderful the judge and lawyers were. But when the trail started with live TV to roll they were all playing to the TV. And in MHO they looked and acted like idiots. Where are they now?

The idea that you can rehabilitate a three time loser a pervert is a pipe dream.

Better definitions of sex crimes, we have language, use it. Perverts should never be released, there is no cure.
Stricter rules on probation, no probation for violent crimes.

A few months ago, an illegal alien up for sex & murder was released by justice of the peace on a $20,000 bonds and a few hours later he committed an other murder.

It has gotten so I keep not stand to watch more one news cast a day do to number of repeat offenders and criminals with records as long your arm I see everyday on the news.

Think I'm to hard on lawyers, I was even harder on computer people I worked with, 30% I would not  let set my trash out on the curb because I don't think they could find the curb.
In conversation with some friends of mine I bet I could go into any large corporation or government organization and hull out 30% of the people and you would not notice the difference and it would operate better. Most of the corporations I've worked for the had policy keeping riffed managers around, (their are called floating heads). No responsibilities. definite job descriptions or a phony one at that.

I believe in the bell curve.
Half of the jobs I've had I to take over for somebody who couldn't hack it.
Whether the Command and Control System of the computers at USAF SAC or the computers that captured the NASA Apollo lift off data at Merritt Island, Florida. One clown ask me for my status report on a new computer system we were designing, I told him status reports were for people who couldn't get their work done on time. I never ask for status reports, I ask to see their work.

Feel free to commit.
We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.
