| Posted: | | | | I was always advised "B" due to the fact that it allowed the up-coming paper to be away from the wall.
There was a scientific study done a few years ago whereby a science team sprayed a toilet room /closet with a chemical that only showed up under ultra-violet light, placed a ultra-violet light sensative video camera (hidden) to record the outcome, the spread of bacteria from flushing lid down or up really opened my eyes to what happens.

Steve I saw the same test, a good argument against the not putting the lid down. | Posted: | | | | I don't know nothing bout no tests, germs or pyhsics, B just feels right! When the girl hangs them in the A fashion, I cry inside and change them. Then I laugh to myself in happiness that I'm not like that guy from Sleeping with the Enemy who would hit her for something that silly, but can see how it could happen on extremly frustrating days already. I mean, I come from home from a horrid day at work, a horrid drive with gridloack traffic and endless jerks cutting me off and honking at me, then I finally find a bit of free road so I punch it, then get a speeding ticket despite driving approx. 1/2 the speed limit the rest of the day, get home to find the garage door is broken and I forgot my keys, so I have to break into my own house which ends with a ripped screen that cuts my arm, then get inside to my privite throne, my sactuary from the world, only to find the toiliet paper facing the wrong way! That has last straw written all over it! |

| Posted: | | | | I clearly see a way to store a stack of DVDs, without their packaging. But what about A and B ??? | | | Images from movies |

| Posted: | | | | Growing up, I couldn't stand it if it was set to B and I'd flip the roll around. Now that I'm grown up, it's flipped. |

| Posted: | | | | I remember when Dear Abby or Ann Landers (I don't remember which) ran this poll in the newspaper decades ago. I remmber the response and debate was overwhelming and caused more debate than any other of her columns! |

| Posted: | | | | I prefer 'A' because it looks neater to me. But if the holder is behind the "sitter" it can be awkward to reach, so in that case I use 'B.' |
