Have you this one, pivoting sky scrapers.
Architect David Fischer's  DynamicArchitecture.
I don't think I'd want to be the first try an apartment in one of these, even if I could afford it.

I wonder how he'll get the elevators to work.  There's some pretty strong flexing going on there.

They'll all be in the middle axis, the real problem is: How do you find your appartment if it moves around?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

This is not necessarily new technology. You just haven't seen it done to an entire building.

Anyone know about the Seattle Space Needle or similar buildings like the one in Atlanta?

These move so slowly that you don't feel the movement unless you are very sensitive to motion or are "looking" for it.

You are right, it's been done, but nowhere near this scale.

Creating a building that has a rotating piece is a massive engineering effort, but putting multiple moving sections that can potentially move independently REALLY takes some engineering.  I'm just imagining the tolerances that need to be dealt with on a building of this size that will flex and sway in the wind.  I would hate to see the 9th and 10th floors crash into each other!

I'm getting dizzy just looking at the animation of it!

It does look cool though if they can pull it off.
