| Posted: | | | | Well, I saw it 3 weeks ago, and I liked it very much. The complete crew was very well cast, I liked the story. It had the necessary drama, action and humor. I don't believe a few disappointed Trekkies will stop it from becoming a hit. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | Well the article is just one of "The Onion"'s parodies. Complaining because the acting wasn't wooden I did have a few problems with it but was mostly impressed. |

| Posted: | | | | Clearly a parody. I really enjoyed the part where the Captain Kirk double fought something that amazingly looked like a cheap copy of Godzilla. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Going Tuesday, can't wait! I have a few reservations about it but I'm sure I'll be blown away when I watch it. And hey, if they make enough cash from it maybe we'll be seeing alot more new Trek (which is always a good thing), maybe even a series... | | | Last edited: by MarEll |

Only highlight if you want a spoiler - Spoiler: (Select to view)Considering they've effectively destroyed everything that's happened so far except Enterprise, at the very least we'll need a sequel |

| Posted: | | | | I really enjoyed the film and I am not a Trekkie!!! Spoiler: (Select to view)Basically using a time paradox, JJ created an entirely new/different timeline in the Star Trek universe. By doing this the original Star Trek canon comprised of the original Star Trek series, plus original cast Star Trek movies, plus The Next Generation series and movies, Deep Space 9, Star Trek Voyager and the newest Star Trek: Enterprise, is not changed or upset in anyway!!! He now has a fresh canvas to create new Star Trek films using the original heroes, James T. Kirk, Spock, Chekov, Uhuru, Sulu, DR.McCoy, and Montgomery Scott!!! | | | My Collection!!! |
