| Posted: | | | | Went to see Wolverine movie last Monday and despite some bad reviews i thought it was great!! My brother said The Watchmen was much better( i haven't seen it yet but when i do i will be looking to tear it apart) Anyone else like the Wolverine movie? Hugh Jackman is the perfect actor to play Logan! Keep the Super hero movies coming!! |

| Posted: | | | | I have seen Wolverine yesterday. It is a good action movie and some of the jokes are actually funny If you liked the X-Men movies you will like this one |

| Posted: | | | | I've seen Wolverine last friday, and it's a entertaining popcorn flick. Despite the bad reviews, I had a good time at the cinema.
IMHO Watchmen was better, because of its deeper and complexer story (and better special effects). | | | Marco

| Posted: | | | | Wolverine was a half-way decent flick. Unfortunately the half in question was the first. The back half of the movie was exactly as bad as the first half was good. It was worth the $5 Cdn it cost to see it ($5 Tuesdays), but if I had paid full price I probably would have been annoyed. Its not Jackman's fault, he did his best, but the writing was terrible and the CGI claws looked awful. And Emma Frost as a teenager made of glitter? Have these people EVER read an X-men comic?
Watchman was a superior film in everyway. I have seen it 3 times now and I am still finding new things. | | | Last edited: by bob9000 |

| Posted: | | | | what did you guys think of Deadpool? I think they kind of screwed that character, very different than the comic books. i have read recent that they are going to make a Deadpool movie with Ryan Reynolds as the star. http://splashpage.mtv.com/2009/05/05/exclusive-deadpool-solo-movie-confirmed-ryan-reynolds-attached-to-wolverine-spin-off/ Hope they go with the comic character complete with cool costume! |

Deadpool picks up his head and puts it back on (my brother told me this i didn't stick around). How about a little courtesy for those of us who may not have gotten to the theater yet? | Posted: | | | | Quoting brimac5477: Quote: i edited my post as to not spoil the movie. anyway for those who didn't see the movie stay after the credits for extra scenes which may or may not have deadpool in them. Thanks for the edit. The reason I posted is that revealing what happend after the credits tells people what happens in the film...can't do what you mentioned unless something else happens first. Quote: also stay off the internet, some sites when talkiing about wolverine, deadpool, etc. don't always say spoiler alert. such as: I make a habbit of not visiting those types of sites, until after I have seen the film, for that very reason. We begged for a spoiler tag here because, this being a DVD site, lots of our members wait until the film is available on DVD to watch it. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | I absolutely loved Watchmen. Have seen it twice now, would definitely see it again (and I'm pissed I didn't get to see it in IMAX). Sure, the comic is much deeper and more complex, but I thought it was a very good adaptation, one of the best adaptations I've seen. Not quite LotR, mind you, but very good.
I want to see Wolverine - but I'm waiting for it to hit DVD. Didn't see the other X-Men movies in the theatre, don't see a reason to start with this one.
Watchmen is the only movie I've seen in the theatre yet this year. I just don't find a lot of films worth it - paying for the theatre, sitting in those cramped seats, and putting up with the crowds - when I can wait a few months and watch them from the comfort of my couch. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |
