I just got my first Blu-Ray Disc Crank and man the sound is more intense then the DVD was. It was worth upgrading from DVD to Blu-Ray.

I was sceptical at first when Blu-ray and HDDVD were released, but with the right equipment, Blu's do indeed offer a nice upgrade in video, audio quality as well as features (love how menus now float over the movie while playing).

My DVDProfiler database is filled with nothing but Blu's: 153 discs and counting

By the way, is Crank worth getting? It's in my DVDProfiler wish list for a while but haven't bought it yet.

Yeah, crank is worth getting. The audio on lionsgate blu's is really good. The new T2 is well worth the audio upgrade.

Crank is action pack from start to finish and it really show off why you should buy Blu-Ray. If you ever seen the movie it a cult classic. I can't wait to see Crank 2 high voltage cause I can't see how he lived after hitting the car at the end when he fall out of the copter.

I've heard good things about the audio on the Skynet Edition, compared to the original US release.
However, I already have the UK blu which has DTS HD MA and has less DNR than the Skynet Edition. So I think I'll stick to that one for now until a maybe a definite edition comes out on Blu.

By the way, T3 will get a release in the UK later this month, also with lossless audio and most likely region free

Please keep in mind Crank, according to this site, is region locked. Seeing a Belgian flag i presume you own a EU (region B) player and thus won't be able to enjoy this BR.

I own this disc and i'll try to put it in my EU PS3 (region B) tomorrow to confirm this but you should be carefull before buying this, highly impressive, disc

Thanks for the heads-up but my player is region A (even though I live in region B). I wanted to be able to play Japanese releases so I bought a region A player.
