Bluray disc is ncompatible now but played yesterday

What the heck going on? I got Crank on Blur-Ray Region A and it played good Friday when I got it now my Panasonic BD60 says it a incompatible disc. I was going to show my friend why he should buy Blu-Ray.

What the heck it's not dirty etc please help.

I fixed it by unplugging the player and plugging it back in strange.

You might want to check the panasonic site to see if you have the latest firmware.

I got the newest v 1.5 from the net I updated it when I got the player. I will call them if it happens again.

No problem this issue happen after I tried to play Independence Day the DVD was skipping like crazy. It would not read any DVD's as well as Blu-Ray's after I ejected ID4 until I unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in from the unit.

I knew ID4 was scratched a little but didn't know it was unplayable. I have that on my list to buy in B1u-Ray.

If it's a scratched disc, no need to worry. Your blu-ray player is fine then.

I can certainly recommend ID4 on Blu. I have it and although it's not a reference grade disc (like I, Robot, for example) considering it's age it looks and sounds pretty good on Blu and is definitely a step-up from the regular DVD.


PS: Bob, love the suit! Where can I get one like that?

Its a big step up IMHO. And you can only find something this stylish at the "Leather & Dudes Ranch", please be sure to give them my name as a reference.

That disc must have trip the incompatible mode
