| Posted: | | | | This may only apply to the Canada release, but when I received my copy from Amazon.ca, instead of a digital copy of the film I received disc 2 from the DVD release, which is just the special features disc (all already contained on the Blu-ray). I e-mailed the distributor Maple Pictures (info@maplepictures.com) to advise them of the problem and received this response: Hi Bob Nine Thousand, I will have a new disc sent to you ASAP. This disc will be a double sided disc which will contain the digital copy and the 2D version of the film. Sorry for the inconvenience. Darcy Murphy Maple Pictures Corp. dmurphy@maplepictures.com After a mere handful of days the replacement disc arrived and, as described, it is something I have never seen before; a DVD flipper with the Digital Copy on side A and a SD DVD copy of the film in 2D on side B. So not only did I get the missing digital copy, but I now have an DVD of the film as well. Handy so that I may use it in my portable DVD player and disgust my people sitting next to me the next time I am on a plane. Now THAT is how you handle a screw-up. The Let the Right One In people should take note. |

| Posted: | | | | Strange. There seem to be endless versions of this film on dvd. Just the other day I got it from the local library, who had a single sided dual layer disc that had all the extra features from disc 2 of the SE, but only the 2-D version of the film (with it's own UPC). I ended up profiling it since it weasn't in the database.
Good to hear LG has good customer service, sounds like every company does except Magnolia. |
