| Posted: | | | | From what I see, Amazon is advertising, get set:
Watchmen (Director's Cut) (Two-Disc Special Edition + Amazon Digital Bundle + Digital Copy)
What is "Amazon Digital Bundle"? And why is the digital copy listed separately as if it weren't simply on the second disc? The page still shows two discs, no extra extras. I don't get it. |

With the cute addition that they let you download it at time of order or at leats shipping, so you could watch it before receiving the physical good. I am thinking if I should get that Amazon thing with the Owl "flying thing". But I would also like the Termintaor 2 bust and worry things will get out of hand... | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

I'm not sure if this disc is identical to disc one of the regular Blu package or not. Edit: amazon won't let me hotlink the image. | | | Last edited: by Ace_of_Sevens |

| Posted: | | | | Some further information re the Watchmen releases.. Check Out Watchmen’s Maximum Movie Modea clip of the new Maximum Movie Mode feature that allows you to see how the film was being made as you watch it. - looks excellent! EXCL: Zack Snyder on Watchmen's Blu-ray Features"Though WB confirmed that an "Ultimate Edition" will be hitting later (around Christmas), Snyder emphasized that the July edition's features won't be repeated and that the later release will be a more or less "movie-only" version, incorporating the "Black Freighter" footage back into the film. Though the later set's running time will be the longest version possible, Snyder's preferred cut will be the version hitting July 21st and that that version will contain the greatest special features. While the "Ultimate" version will not include the walk-ons, it will have an exclusive audio-only commentary." - I was going to only get the Ultimate edition at the end of the year - but It looks like I'll have to get the DC (us of course since the UK won't get a DC cut) and then may have to double dip at the end of the year to get the extended version.. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | If the Ultimate "only" adds the Black Freighter short (I loved the film, but not a mega-fan really) and the commentary (I love good commentaries, but frankly, I don't find the time to listen to them any more ). So, then I guess the upcoming DC will be all I'll need. Thanks Paul. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |
