I noticed that this forum doesn't have any game threads so I thought I'd create one.

Simple premise, someone posts a line from a film then the next person has to guess what film it's from and (optionally) who said it.  If they get it right they then post one.

To keep things moving, if you're 99% sure what it is go ahead and post your line without waiting for confirmation.  And if there's been no takers in a day or two feel free to post a new line to get things going again.

I'll start us off with an easy one:
No, I'm from Iowa, I only work in outer space.

This must be from "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home", correct?

And if I am correct here is my line: "There he is. There's my boy. But who's your daddy? Who is yo' daddy?"

I think this line needs a hint: Spoiler:  (Select to view)

Correct.  That was of course Kirk from The Voyage Home.

Just gotta add, please refrain from cheating with google  ...at least until it's clear no-one else is going to get it.

Not saying that's what you did Mathijs.  Any self respecting Trek fan would of known that line instantly

There was a thread for this but it's so far buried that it's probably best not digging it up.

Quoting Mathijs:

The spoiler helped a lot. Thanx for it. It's "Sideways"

My question (maybe too easy, but I simply love this film):
"Bye-bye, goofy woman. I enjoyed repeatedly throwing you to the ground"
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Never seen Red River so without a Google search I'd never have got it.

It may just be a British thing but This is England is brilliant!
