| Posted: | | | | Get ready for even more merchandising-driven crap. Great. Once the current licenses run out, at least we'll have all the characters back under one roof, which will allow for cross-overs. |

| Posted: | | | | As Ace mentions, having all things Marvel under one roof opens up a lot of options. I was worried when they acquired Pixar, but the quality didn't change. I have fewer worries here. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. | Posted: | | | | Indeed, having all Marvel licenses under one roof would be a good thing, seeing how the Marvel universe is a consistent one (virtually any character can run into virtually any character). Also, I think Disney can put a bit more financial weight behind the products.
As long as Disney doesn't meddle with creative freedom, I think it opens up some perspectives. | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

| Posted: | | | | I was liking where Marvel films had been heading, esp. after Punisher: War Zone. I fear this is the end of the R rated Marvel Knights films but would love to be proven wrong.
Someone on another forum mentioned the possiblity of Pixar doing some animated Marvel stuff, that could be awesome. |

LOL, it has been awhile since i was at the World, but if memory serves the ELP was retired several yars ago. I think Tokyo was still running it, but they have probably retired it to now. It is well over 20 years old. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

Skip I didn't see it two years ago when we went to Tokyo Disney parks (Sea + Land), but we did see something like that last year when we went during the Halloween season, where they had a parade in the evening with light-up chariots with all the Disney villains. Is that the ELP? | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

Is that the ELP? Well I was at Anaheim Disneyland last year and they had the parade with all the Disney characters and music parading down Main St in the afternoon (2pm?) ,, and over at California theme park across the lot was the the other parade with Pixar characters and such parading twice a day as well.. ( we saw it at 5 pm? ( pixar) and again at 10 pm (Disney cast ) Now was it called the Electric Light parade? (I still the theme music ringing in my ears to this day.),, I think so as the floats were all lite up with a thousand bulbs as the last float with the American Eagle was the most impressive bathed in lights ... so Spectro Light Parade it must be.. same parade though., same music.., same floats .. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Skip It runs every night at Disney's California Adventure. It was a very cool flash from the past the last time I was there and the kids loved it. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. The Rock, Gangs of New York, Apocalypto, Con Air, An American Werewolf in Paris, Crimson Tide...all rated R, all put out by Disney. I don't know why it would be different with Marvel. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
