| Posted: | | | | Funnily at Amazon Germany it's nearly 300 € and will not be available until December 23rd. Preordered from Amazon France today. Thanks for the tip Cyrille. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. | Posted: | | | | It's highly likely that the French version has English audio tracks too. So you might want to try here: Amazon.fr | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | It's not so much that for me. It's that they aren't releasing it in the native language. Also, any external packaging & menus will be in X language. I have nothing against having non-English films, I've got a few few but when the film itself is English, I'd rather have an English release. If it were a different distributor I might understand it but it just doesn't make sense to me. End rant Thanks for the suggestion though |

Thanks for the suggestion though Since these are the Blu-Ray versions, they will probably have the same discs as the UK releases, meaning you can select English for the menu language. I've checked the disc ID's for the current releases of Chamber of Secrets for UK, FR, NL, and they are identical. The only problem is, for the Amazon release, you will have French artwork, and for the Proxis release, you will have Dutch artwork. The Dutch version may appear cheaper on Mediadis, they are very slow in adding pre-release info, but usually they have better prices. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the clarification about the menus! I did think about that while posting but didn't remember anything from my existing HP Discs. However it's quite likely that I've seen them so many times I just auto bypass them now! |

I'm not sure it this is going to be sold on Mediadis. If they do, they might have to hurry to put info on their site. On Proxis.com they sell it for 219 euros. I'm still not convinced wether to buy it or not. They might make another limited blu-ray release when the 2 last and 7th parts are done. My girlfriend says to wait, I on the other hand would like to buy it.... |

| Posted: | | | | I'm just seeing on DVDFr.com that several sources have announced the Hogwarts Castle edition is cancelled. I hope it's an error and the edition will exist otherwise I will be very disappointed...
Has someone see any news about the cancellation of this edition? | | | Regards Cyrille |
