| Posted: | | | | Well some people are thinking that Fox will release a previous season, like season 13 in the spring, while releasing a newer season in the fall. Of course one disadvantage is the possibility of hardly any bonus features on the newer seasons. For example the only special feature as of right now, according to TVShowsonDVD.com is a sneak peek at the 20th Anniversary special by Morgan Spurlock, which will air in January. | | | We're on a mission from God.

Whatever I will be getting 20 when released I cannot see this happening as there are many people would not have the resources to drop $280.00 all at once. Seventy dollars a year when they first started (2 seasons a year @ $35.00 each) was palatable to the average consumer. Fox would be stupid to give up on this cash cow now. I can see maybe four releases a year but they would have to drop them to $19.95 per release or loose a large portion of their audience. Plus lets face it the features on the last release were light and pretty sad. For instance you cannot even turn on the subtitles after an episode is playing without leaving the episode and entering the special features gallery. This could go down as one of the largest marketing blunders in history. |
